Jason Bruges Studio creates world renowned installations that live somewhere between site-specific architecture and interaction design. The studio was formed in 2002 and now employs a large team of architects, interaction and lighting designers, and specialists in electronics and programming.
We were absolutely buzzing when Jason agreed to come in and present some work to us along with his assistant Taylor-Kate. They talked us through some of their award winning work such as the Great Ormond Street Hospital digital wallpaper, the ‘Back to Front’ public space installation in Toronto and the dichroic blossom tree installation in Beijing, along with a few samples of the technology used to bring it all to life.
It really was inspiring stuff, and exactly the kind of talk we love at 5:15. If you want to see more of the studio’s work, you can view here: http://www.jasonbruges.com/
